Kindergarten

Steven Paul started Kindergarten on August 22. I can not believe I can now say that we have a kindergarten. He was so excited to start school!! He is still the shiest kids you will ever meet so I was a little worried about how it would go. He does not like to be the center of attention and he likes to know what is going to happen next....ALL the time, so to just start something so new I was a little worried. He was in Pre-K all last year but he has been out all summer. We had meet the teacher on Friday before school started and he was a little nervous. We had talked to him and counted down the days until he would start school and the day finally came.....
Reading his new book "The Night Before Kindergarten"
He was so excited he did not want to put the book down and go to sleep.
The next morning came and I didn't even have to tell him to get up and get dressed. He was so excited that he was going to be able to take his lunch to school. He is sooooo picky when it comes to eating so I am sure I will be packing his lunch all year.
Steven came home for lunch as we were getting ready to head out.
Such a big boy! It still had not hit me yet that I was about to walk our baby to his first day of Kindergarten!
So handsome and so excited! We only live like a block from the school so it is soo nice that we are able to walk everyday! No need to fight for a parking spot!In front of Pat Butler School! Steven went to school here! I love that our kids are going here!
Finding his name and hanging up his backpack!Getting in line to go inside......he was starting to get a little nervous! His teacher Mr. Bruzzo.......I'm not going to lie, when I heard he was going to have a man for a teacher I was a little worried. But Steven Paul loves him and he is such a nice guy!!When I told him bye he got this look on his face like he was about to cry so I left fast. Outside there was a little spot in the window you could spy in on the kids and I stayed there for about 3 minutes watching and he never shed a tear! I was SHOCKED! I thought it was going to be a sob fest. On the way home I shed some tears, but I was happy I was able to hold off so he didn't see me.When we picked him up he talked about what a great day he had! I was sooo relieved. I am so happy that he loves school so much now (I'm sure it will change in a few years).
So glad he had a wonderful experience on the first day of the rest of his life!

Harmony Rose

Harmony is now 81/2 months old and getting so big. She is crawling EVERYWHERE and getting into EVERYTHING!!! She has the best personality and is happy all the time! She went to the doctor yesterday and had to get her 6 month shots since we were out of town when she was 6 months old and didn't even cry! She got 4 (poor baby) and was just smiling at everyone in the office after. She weighed 19lbs 14 oz. She has 8 teeth (2 more are almost through). She is always saying Dada and waving at everyone! She is just so much fun!!

Her onesie says "My mom doesn't want your advice" I had to get it because I always have old women coming to me saying something!
She thinks she is such a big girl now that she can pull up!!
Sometimes when I think she is napping, she is actually in there standing up talking and laughing to herself! So cute! I love this age!

Couponing......

I have always used coupons! I love saving money. I am probably one of the cheapest people you will ever meet. I refuse to buy anything unless it is on sale or better yet clearance. The clearance racks are the first place I go when I walk into a store. Since the show Extreme Couponing has aired, I have done a little research and learned a lot more about saving money with coupons. There are so many videos you can watch and blogs you can read to help you understand a little better. Now I don't go all crazy like buying 56 bottles of mustard or 1,000 boxes or cereal, but you better believe the things that don't have an expiration date, we are stocked up on. Under our bathroom counter you can find about 10 bottles of body wash, razors galore, 10 bottles of shampoo/conditioner, 6 bottles of kids shampoo, lots and lots of deodorant for me and Steven. You will always need this stuff, so why not stock up on them if you get them super cheep! Today I went to Target and the total bill was 50.32........I walked out paying 13.32. I love reading couponing blogs and finding the latest deals....here are my favorite blogs. If you have money saving blogs or websites that you like to use please tell me in the comments section so I can check them out!
