Halloween 2008!

Last year was a laid back Halloween. We went around the neighborhood and then just came home! We all dressed up and had a blast! Rheanne had just got tubes that morning but she was a champ!Steven Paul was obsessed with Lightening McQueen so that is what he dressed up as. Rheanne was a pumpkin that I had got on sale! Speaking of sale, the costume she is this Halloween was only $2.00 last year!!So tomorrow I will be hitting the stores looking for next years costumes!Heading out to trick-or-treat!HA!Cuties!

Tubes!

On this day last year, Rheanne got tubes put into her ears! She was only 7 months old, but she had already had 6 ear infections. Her first ear infection was when she was 3 WEEKS old!Poor thing! She was a changed baby the same day she got the tubes!Before tubes all she did was cry...ALL THE TIME!!! After she got over being fussy from the surgery, she started crawling (before she would sit on the floor screaming), eating baby food (because she would not eat ANYTHING before, only drink milk) and started sleeping threw the night!All in the same day!!! She could not eat anything after midnight the night before so I woke her up at 11:45 and tried feeding her cereal but she was not having it! Right before she went back for surgery! It only took 10 minutes but it seemed like forever cus I couldn't be with her!
She hated the braclets around her ankles!That night!Totally different person!

Poop!!

Rheanne pooped in the potty last night!!! She told me she needed to potty so I put her on there and she pooped!!! I am so excited!

Bathrooms!

I would love to get a new sink!The bathroom in our room! It only has a shower and I really wish we had a full tub in there!I really wish it was bigger!Sink area! Yes we have speakers in there because my hubby can't take a shower without listening to music!

Church People

Last week at church, the message was about how the church is for EVERYONE, not just "church people." So many times we look at people because they are not dressed correctly for church, or they worship differently. We all worship the same God no matter how we are dressed or worship.Please take the time and watch last weeks message here and know that church is for EVERYONE not just "church people".

Never forgotten!

Today is National Day of Miscarriage and Infant Loss! There are so many people out there who have been there and it hurts! Remember my post from here. Well even though it has been 5 months since our miscarriage I still think about it often. I always think, I would be this far along, I would only have this much longer, I wonder what the sex would have been, what we would have named him/her, etc. I am so glad that I was not very far along and that we never got to see the heartbeat because if we would had, it would have been 10 times harder. I know when the timing is right God will bless us with another child! Katie over at Loves of Life also went threw this and wrote a great post on it. In honor of the little baby that we lost, we lit a candle! I will NEVER forget this no matter how much time goes by. Please pray for all the women who have gone threw this and ones that have lost babies after they were born.

Our lil Princess!

Rheanne is OBSESSED with shoes! No matter who's shoes they are she wants to put them on! Here she is wearing Steven Paul's shoes! Ha look at that smile on her face!!I got this cute dress as a hand-me down! I think that it is so cute! She wore it to church on Sunday and I was amazed that she actually left the hat on!

Scarf Swap!

I entered a scarf swap over at Loves of Life. My partner was Cupcakes with Nic .I LOVE the scarf that she sent my way! It goes great with my work shirts! I was supposed to take a picture of me wearing it but I couldn't get the lighting to look right! Thanks Nic for the great scarf and thanks Katie for having a great giveaway!

Living Room!

Here is our living room! It is one of my favorite rooms because it is so big! We put new comfy carpet in when we moved in! Next up is bathrooms! Looking to the hallway that leads to the bedrooms!

We thought she was ready to start sleeping out of the cage but we found her sleeping on the couch, so we let her sleep in Steven Paul's room and now his comforter has a huge hole in it from her chewing on it! 1 Year Anniversary!

One year ago today we bought our first home! I am so happy that we made the choice to buy instead of keep renting! We LOVE our house (even though there are a few things we would like to upgrade) and our neighborhood!There are many family members and friends who have not seen our house so these next few post will be of our home! Steven Paul went without a nap the other day and fell asleep while watching TV! He was so worn out!I walked into the living room and he was like this!I go get his bed ready and I come back and he is like this!

Czech Fest

On Saturday while Steven was working, the kids and I met up with some friends from work and went to the Czech Fest here in Yukon. This was our first year to go and the kids really enjoyed it! We went to the parade where Steven Paul stocked up on candy then headed to walk around and look at the crafts. We saw so many children from school! On the walk back to the car, I noticed that Rheanne only had one shoe on! She had taken the other one off and threw it down somewhere! I back tracked to every where we went and could never find it! I was bummed because that was only her 3rd time wearing them. I looked online to get some more but I couldn't find them. I bought them when I was pregnant with her because they were on sale for a great price, and she is just not fitting into them! I am sure that they don't make them anymore :Eating some candy and watching the parade!The oldest princess I have ever seen riding in a parade! She reminded me of my Mimmy!Wanting out of the stroller!I have always loved watching these little cars!He loves firetrucks! Had to give her a sucker to keep her quiet!You can't go to a fair without getting a corn dog!I got these cute saying for only.....a DOLLAR!!This one was $5, but I thought it would be so cute in the window!I got Steven Paul a sign to hand on his door!It is made out of a ceiling tile! So easy to make!
