Kiddos

Here are a few pics of the kids. They were playing today and I decided to get a few pics. They are already fighting like brother and sister, isnt it too early for that? I can just imagine how it is going to be when they are teenagers.

Poor Puppy

Lady got spayed last Thursday. She came home and just layed around the rest of the day. The vet told us that she would be out of it for a few days. Well the next morning when we let her out of her cage she ran around like a wild hyena and she hasnt stopped yet, so much for getting a few peaceful days.Haha here is a pic of her with her lamp shade on. She hates it, when I put it on her, she chases me around trying to bite me to get her to take it off.

2nd Try

Here is a picture of my second cake! It turned out way better than the first, but I still need practice. I need to use a different icing, the icing I used on this cake was really oily and was melting. So I am going to go and buy some more cake mixes and will keep posting pics of my cakes!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT HALEY!! I can NOT believe you are a teenager now! I remember the 1st time I held you, you were so tiny and now you are growing up! Enjoy these years, they are the funnest and they will go by so fast! Can't wait to see you! We love you!!

1st Try!!

OK so I have kinda got a new hobby.....making cakes! Haha I'm laughing at myself as I write this blog. So the other day we went and got decorations and stuff for Rheanne's 1st birthday party. When we got home Steven and I were talking and decided that I was going to try and make Rheanne's 1st birthday cake, so I get online and search some cakes and found the perfect one to try and make!So then I go to the store and buy everything I need. Things did not go good at all. Of course I try to make the most difficult cake my very first time. It was supposed to be a 3 layer cake and it only turned into about a 1 1/2 layer cake. Im sure it would have helped if I would have started it before 9:30 at night!! So here are a few pictures, I still have A LOT of practice to do before her party, I'm making another one tonight and I will let you know how it turns out!!

Work in progress, it was supposed to be 3 layers, but when I went to pick up the top layer it crumbled to pieces.This is the cake that I was trying to go by, it's perfect for her party.

Growing up!

So it just hit me hard today that Rheanne will be turning ONE in a month! :( I can not believe that she has grown so fast. She is so much fun and knows how to make us laugh! She gets into everything and is so nosey. Everyone told me how fast your kids would grow, but I didnt really think that it could go THIS fast! We really have to enjoy it while we can. They will be grown and out of the house before we know it! Its just SOO sad to me!!

Christmas

I know that these pictures are almost 2 months old, but here are a few pictures from Christmas! We spent our 1st Christmas in our new home. My parents came up and then me and the kids went to Texas to see the family down there! Maybe this year we can have the California Guerra's come celebrate with us!!

Crazy Day

Well today was pretty CRAZY!! We had major storms that came with hail (almost the size of baseballs) and tornado warnings. The day started out like a normal day, then when we were getting dressed to head out the door, and it started raining. No big deal then out of no where it starts hailing, we start watching the news and we see that the storm could produce tornados. Then the school sirens start going off and we get in the closet. It was so scary. Well long story short, we had to get in the closet 3 times and luckily we had no damage. The tornado touched down about 10 miles north of us. Here are a few pics of the hail, pretty amazing! We now know what we are doing with our tax return.......GETTING A STORM SHELTER!!!

Fireproof

We watched Fireproof last night and it was such an amazing movie! I definitely recommend every couple to watch it. It is such a great example of how a marriage should be. Im so excited to go out and get the book The Love Dare and start my 40 day challenge.

Snow

We had ice and snow 2 weeks ago and had a blast playing in it. The weather is beautiful now and hopefully the snow is gone till next year!

A Few Pictures

Its been forever since we have sent pictures of the kids.Here are a few pictures from the last couple of months.


Steven Paul got this work station for Christmas. He loves helping dad out with his tools.


She would rather play with the laundry basket or with Lady's toys than she would with her own toys!

Steven Paul is potty trained! (Thank goodness). I let him do it by himself one day and this is what I came in on!

And this is our third child...Lady! She is a choclate lab! She is 4 months old. We have had her since November. She is so good with the kids and they LOVE her! If we get on to her Steven Paul always takes up for her by saying "She's just playing."

Doctor Appt.

We took the kids to a new doctor last week to catch up on some shots and have well child checks done! Steven Paul is now 2 1/2. He weighed 40.5 lbs and was 40.5 in tall. He had to get three shots and it was the saddest thing ever! We told him that he had to get them so that he wouldnt get sick, so that helped a little. After we left he said, "that doctors in trouble, she gave me a boo boo and that was bad." :) He keeps us laughing!
Rheanne will be 11 months on the 18th! I can not believe that she will be having a birthday next month! Time flies! She had to get one shot and she cried a little. She weighs 20 lbs 13 oz and was 29 in tall. She has 6 teeth and is trying to get 3 more in! She is finally eating big people food, she was never crazy about baby food! She is crawling everywhere and getting into EVERYTHING!! She can pull up on something and let go and stand for a few seconds, so she will be walking soon!! I am NOT ready for that!
