Funnies...

Steven Paul is at that age where you never know what is going to come out of his mouth. He defiantly keeps me laughing and he can say the sweetest things. Over the past few days he has said a few things I want to jot down, so when he is older we can look back and laugh!

We took the kids to the mall the other day to play (Post with pictures coming soon) and it was raining. When we got home we were playing on the floor and the bottom of my bluejeans were wet cus of the rain.

--Steven Paul-"Mommy your pants are wet!"

--Me- "I know, its from the rain."

--SP-"Mommy, did you pee pee in your pants?"

Haha I just started laughing.

We were getting ready to take a nap yesterday and I wanted one too so I put Steven Paul in the bed with me. I asked him if he wanted to snuggle cus he usually does.

--Me- "Do you want to snuggle?"

--SP- "Sure Mommy."

--Me- " I love snuggling with you, its my most favorite thing to do."

--SP- "Really Mommy, cus its not my favorite thing to do."

--Me-"Aw really, what is your favorite thing to do?"

--SP-"To play outside, and to see Memaw and Pepaw and Meme and Popa"

I guess I'm chopped liver now!

This morning when we were getting ready for school, Steven Paul was sitting at the table. I threw a dirty diaper in the trash. He started breathing in and goes:

--SP-"Mommy I smell something."

--Me-"Really what is it?"

--SP-"I don't know but I think that I am smelling your feet."

--Me-"My feet?!"

--SP-"Yes Mommy that is it, I'm smelling your feet."

SERIOUSLY?? Where in the world does he come up with this stuff! I love this age, he is so much fun to carry on a conversation with, cus like I said you never know what he is going to say.

2 Poopy Days..........Literally!!

So our past 2 days have included lots of laundry, cleaning the bathroom/bedroom, and POOP! Yesterday when Steven got home he walked into a horrible smell. Lady had pooped and threw up all on her bed and in her kennel. So when I got home he was in the backyard cleaning out the cage. He threw her HUGE pillow into the wash and we gave her a bath. My bathroom was a DI ASTER by the time we were done bathing/drying her. Then last night Steven Paul threw up all in the bathtub and that had to be cleaned up.
Last night when Steven Paul was saying that his tummy was hurting, I gave him some kids laxative medicine, well when he threw up I thought that he probably threw it all up. Well at 7:00 this morning, he ran into our bathroom and started pooping as you can imagine....it was EVERYWHERE!
Rheanne woke up this morning and instead of letting us know she was awake, she decided to take her her diaper off and play in her poop. Yea GROSS I know! Steven walked by her room and smelt it. He walked in and she had it all over her hands and then held her arms out for him to pick her up. Ha. He put her in the bath and while I bathed her he cleaned her bed. It was all over her sheets, all on the bumper, and on the railings. She had it seriously from head to toe! So disgusting. Hopefully we are done with poop for a while, don't know how much more Steven can stand cleaning up.

HELP!!!

Steven Paul had cheese NIPS for a snack today before dinner and then all of a sudden while eating dinner he just starts crying saying that his belly hurts. We didn't really think a lot of it then after a few minutes we put him on the potty to get him to try and poop...Nothing...He keeps crying so I put him in the bath tub of warm water and give him some medicine. Out of no where he starts throwing up all in the bath, I so get him out and he has this horrible rash all over his legs and arms. After he threw up he said that his belly didn't hurt anymore.He has had Cheese ITs before but never Cheese Nips. Aren't they pretty much the same thing? Can he really be allergic to Cheese NIPS and not Cheese Its or could it have been something he ate earlier in the day?Does it sound like an allergic reaction?

I went to wal-mart and was putting my pictures on a disk and I came across these pictures. I know I have shared them before but not together. It is so cute to me how they both resting on their hand. Its funny how similar these pictures are. They are so precious!

My Aching Heart....

Last night I put Steven Paul to bed (at 8:00 pm) and he would NOT go to sleep. He kept just laying in there going "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy." I would go in there and ask him what he wanted and he would say he wanted me to sleep with him. Well I kept telling him no cus I was not going to start that habit. So he does it for like a hour. I go in there and tell him that was enough and to go to sleep because we had to go to church tomorrow. He quiets down then after about 30 minutes he starts up again. I was starting to get mad. I tell him that if I have to go into his room again he was going to get a spanking. I let him do it for about 30 minutes, all he is saying is "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy." I go in and spat him on his butt and that set him off. I walk out of the room and he starts SCREAMING. I wait a few minutes and go in there....

Me-- "Why are you so upset?"

Steven Paul--"I'm sad." ( He is saying this threw his sniffles, SO SAD!"

Me-"Ok why are you sad?"

SP--"Because I'm crying."

Me--"Why are you crying?"

Sp--"Because I want you."

Me--"OK what do you want me to do?"

Sp--"All I want to do is snuggle with you Mommy."

Oh my gosh I just started crying, I just picked him up and held him until he went to sleep. I could not stop looking at how precious his face was. He broke my heart. I love him so much! I finally made it to bed around 12:00 am, but I would not have traded holding my precious son for anything.

~Devotional~

So Friday morning I was reading my daily devotional and it was about how we dint need to have such scheduled lives that God needs to be in control of our lives.It was saying that God will throw things in our lives that throw us for a loop just to show us that he is in control. Also that we shouldn't get so upset when God does throw things in there and messes up our "scheduled" life. So at school Steven Paul pooped in his pants, he NEVER does that , he has only had like 3 accidents since he has been potty trained, anyway I was MAD cus when I asked him why he did it he had a smirk on his face and would just say, "I don't know." So I'm changing him and it hits me, God is totally throwing me for a loop. I just start laughing and I'm like, Ok I really should not have got mad about this. Steven Paul looks at me with the most PRECIOUS eyes ever and said,"Mommy it was just an akadent."--Here is the part of devotional that I keep repeating I'm my head. "We are to live our lives that are, in a way, out of control. Because only when we are out of control can God be in control!"--
So when your child gets sick the morning you have a big meeting, your car breaks down on your way to work, or your day just gets completely messed up, just remember God is in control!!

Play Day!

Beth, Matt, and McKenzie came over today to play. It was so much fun sitting and chatting with Beth and letting the kiddos just hang out and play for a few hours. We are definitely going to miss them so much when they move. The boys had a BLAST. There was not ONE toy left in any of the toy boxes at the end of the day! The boys were so worn out after playing Steven Paul laid down as soon as they walked out the door and was out till I woke him up so that he would sleep tonight! Beth said both of her kids were knocked out the whole way home!So much fun!Just starting to play. Steven Paul emptied every puzzle he owns on the floor, and of course Rheanne has to be right in the middle of it.Rheanne playing with McKenzie, I wish that they could grow up together to be the best of friends!Steven Paul talking to McKenzie, she loved him!Matt having a blast!What a big girl she is, standing and playing all by herself!After playing for a while, ha!They were such big boys when we asked them to pick up. I really need to go threw all those toys, he has a ton.We got the swing out for McKenzie and I decided to put Rheanne in it when they left. She loved it! I might have to keep it out when I really need to get something done so I can keep my eye on her! She is way to big for it. Swinging to sleep.....
