Presenting....

Mr. Steven Paul's Photography!!On the way home from Oklahoma he said he wanted to take pictures of the mountains and of sister. I gave him my camera and believe it or not he took some really good pictures! He might just be a photographer when he grows up!

Daddy's Little Princess....

Last year was Rheanne's first Father's Day and I had got this idea online about taking pictures of the daughter's hand in the palm or her Father's hand each year on Father's Day. I am going to do it every year till she gets married and then put them all in a photo album and give them to her on her wedding day! It is going to be so special!

Poor Baby....

Steven Paul had a rough day on Saturday! First off my kids are about the clumsiest kids you will ever meet (they get it from their mom)!Saturday night he was playing with Steve and he went to run away and slid and hit the corner of the door frame with his nose! It started bleeding and for a little while I thought he might have broke it because it looked like it was swelling up. We got it to stop bleeding and I was touching it and he said that it didn't hurt. We watched it the rest of the night and it never bruised or anything. I was shocked, I just knew he was going to have two black eyes and a bruised nose!

For Father's Day, he helped me make Steven a cake and he was so excited to show him! He kept saying "Daddy come look at your birthday party cake"!Ha! Well he was so excited that he decided to get the cake off the counter to show Steven. Well....it dropped and broke! Glass flew everywhere! I told Steven Paul not to move and I went over and picked him up and put him on the counter. His little feet had little cuts on them and were bleeding! He looked at me and said"Mommy we have to make Daddy another birthday party cake," in the saddest voice. He was so bummed out, he went and sat in the rocking chair with a sad look on his face. He was so disappointed that Dad never got to see the cake that he had made for him!

Putting on the sprinkles....So excited about the cake he made!
Then bam....he pulls it off the counter to show his Daddy!

Busy Busy Busy

This weekend was a super busy one!! My mom, the kids, and I went to Oklahoma on Thursday because I had an interview for a job on Friday! On the way there we saw this consignment that had kids toys sitting outside! So we pull in there and they have this....
brand new for $40.00!!! I was in shock because we almost bought the kids one not too long ago and it was $139.99!! Of course I bought it and we shoved it into the van! I am super excited about that buy!! I got a GREAT deal and Steven Paul loves it! He played in it all weekend!Friday I had an interview for a full time job at a childcare/preschool and I GOT IT!!!! I'm soo happy! I get to take the kids for free, its about a mile from the house, its full time, better pay, and they throw in a free membership to the gym!I am so excited to start!I am going to start going back to school in the fall and by next spring I will have my Associates in Education! I'm really excited for this journey that we are about to start! After my interview we had to run a million errands and decided that we were going to have a garage sale on Sat. We stayed up till midnight pricing everything and then got up at 5:30am Saturday morning to get ready. We had shoppers by 6:30!We did really good and what was left over I took to goodwill!Yay our garage is CLEAN for once!Saturday after the garage sale we just hung out and got stuff packed up to head back to Texas for two more weeks! Steven got up at 4:30 on Sunday to head to the airport to catch his flight to California! He is going out there for 3 days to see his family and friends! He has not been for almost two years so it was time for him to visit! I know that he will have fun and be so happy that he got to see everyone!

I am going to start doing this on every Wednesday so that you can see some of our past! This was in August of 2004, we had only been dating a couple of months!
Steven Paul was only 4 weeks old. My friend Jackie was practicing with my hair so she could style it for the wedding!
This was September of 2005, at Steven's brother's wedding in San Jose, CA!

We had Old School Night where there were things that they could do from back in the day when we were little kids. I was over the tie-die table and all the shirts came out really good! They had sidewalk chalk, marbles, hula hoops, jacks, potato sac races, dodge ball, egg toss and guess how many jelly beans were in the jar! Too much fun! Everyone participated and it went really well!
