Ha!

I just want to jot down a few things Steven Paul has said over the past few weeks that really cracks me up. I write these down so that in the years to come we can look back and laugh!

He was sitting on the potty waiting for me to wipe his bottom when I hear him yell,"Mom, you better hurry or I am going to fall in the potty and you will NEVER have another brother.EVER"
(He said brother because that is what we call him around the house)

We were driving and he looked at sister and said, "You are so pretty, you are the prettiest little girl ever."

This is from a while back. I was wrapping presents for Christmas and Rheanne was crawling all over the paper so I picked her up and set her down and told her "NO" He looked at me and said you don't tell her no. I said I can tell her what I want because I am her mom. He looked at Rheanne and said, "and you, you don't crawl over that paper or I am going to spank your butt"!

He saw a baby the other day and said, "Aww aren't your just so cute, yeah you are."

We were eating dinner the other night and he wanted to eat something Steven had. He said "I want to eat that so I can be big and strong like Dad."

When I get on to him for something he says "You don't talk to that like boys." I keep telling him he has it backwards and should say "You dont talk to boys like that."

I will continue to add to this post as I remember what he says! I can't wait for Rheanne to start talking so I can write it down!

KOCO News 5!

There is no need to go to California to see celebrities when you can just go the the park across the street from our neighborhood and see them! I'm not talking Brad Pitt or Julia Roberts, but I am talking about these people.........the news anchors! Ha I know what your thinking, they aren't celebrities, but over here in Oklahoma you take what you can get when you are able to see people that are on TV. The news team was here in Yukon for the day. It's called on the road tour with KOCO. They had vendors set up, giveaways, the KOCO helicopter, and they did the 5 and 6 o'clock news live from the park. After school we headed over there just to see what was going on and had a fun time seeing everything! And the best part was everything was FREE!!It was hot! Eating and Playing!

We have not been up to much this past week. We have found this new school a few blocks away that has a perfect size playground for the kids. We have gone almost every night either before or after dinner! They love it! Here are a few pics of them playing and enjoying dinner!Steven Paul turns 3 next Saturday! I can not believe it! Steven's parents are coming in next Friday and we are so excited to see them! And just a little something from Steven Paul that he told me the other day.....
Steven Paul: "Mommy can you get me something to drink?"
Me:"Yes, when you learn how to say please."
SP"Will you get me something to drink please, and if you don't I'm going to tell Daddy and sister and you are going to be in big trouble!"

He was watching The Jungle Book last night when he said, "Mom, I want to go to the jungle so that the bears will talk to me."I told him that it was a cartoon and bears don't really talk and he started arguing with me "Yes they do I want to go talk to them, and I want to live there with them!"

This is Steven Paul's favorite part of the playground! He could sit and spin all day. I got in there with them the other day and when I got out I felt so sick and he just kept spinning!

Weekends!!

My favorite thing to do on Saturday mornings is to go to Garage Sales! This past weekend we were heading out the door at 8:00am to get some great deals! I got Rheanne a ton of clothes that are 3T and 4T! I also got the kids a picnic table to go outside for $3.00!!! Steven Paul got a play-dough kit that he plays with everyday for $1.00! I got three nice metal hanging planters that I can not wait to put beautiful flowers in and hang on the porch for $.50 each! Here are just a few items!I could not pass up this cute sign for Rheanne's room!Can you believe this jacket was only $0.50!! I got to a sale right when a woman was closing up and she told me that I could have whatever I wanted for .50 each! I got about 15 pieces of clothes! They are all old navy, gymboree, children's place, or gap! This jacket is just too cute!Gap sweater.....$.50!
I got to a sale where they were putting stuff out, and there sat this picnic table! I waited till they had everything out and went up and bought this table for $3.00 and it looks brand new! I am glad I found it because it would have sold quick!

A day in the pool.....

the kiddie pool that is. We went and hit up a few garage sales (a post about my great finds coming soon)yesterday morning. We went to Hobby Lobby to get a few things for Steven Paul's party, then came home and hung out in the pool. It was a nice day so we just played out back. After playing in the pool everyone came in and had LONG naps! It was wonderful!Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
The water was really cold at first, but then the sun warmed it up!

It didnt bother Rheanne, she got in and starting splashing right away!
I forgot to put her in a swimming diaper and her regular diaper filled up so much it popped! There was gel EVERYWHERE!In deep conversation in the pool!Ha look at her hand on her knee pointing at Steven Paul!

Birthday Parties!!

I am joining in on Kelly Korner's childrens birthday party ideas! Head on over for some great and super cute idea's. I have already posted Rheanne's 1st birthday party and Steven Paul's birthday party is in 2 weeks! He wanted a Curious George birthday! I am going to make banana's dipped in choclate....and I love these cupcakes! Not sure which ones I will do, I got both ideas off blogs at the Children's Parties site! So I will post pictures as soon as his party is over! All of his friends are coming and we are going to set up some swimming pools and let them monkey around :)

She's Missing....

The other day I was in the living room playing with Rheanne and Steven Paul was in the dining room coloring. Rheanne decided to go to the dining room and help brother. I started watching TV then all of a sudden it got quiet. I went in there looking for her and she was no where to be found. So I start looking in every room of the house and could not find her. I had no clue where she could be. Then I hear something coming from the dog kennel and I look in there and she is just sitting there with the gate closed and a huge smile on her face!Ha! Then this morning I was in the bathroom getting ready and Steven Paul was brushing his teeth and Rheanne brushed her teeth and then was playing in the hall. I then realize that she was not in the hall anymore so I go and look for her and again she is no where to be found.Of course I go straight to the dog kennel, but she was not in there. I go in every room again and can not find her. I go look in her room again and I hear something in her closet. I look in there and she was behind her clothes just sitting there with her baby doll. I don't know where she is going to hide next, I guess she loves playing hide and go seek!Getting out of her closet!

Crazy Child!

Rheanne is so funny. This morning she took all of her baby dolls out of her toy pack and play and brought it into the living room and decided to use it for herself!Steve said she has been sitting in it all day!Steven Paul dumped her upside down and she was cracking up!Silly girl!I can't believe that she actually fits in it!

Pete and Candace! This weekend we went to Dallas for my cousins wedding! She looked beautiful and they are the happiest couple ever! The kids and I got up Saturday morning (Steven had to work) and headed to Dallas. It was so much fun and it was great seeing some of the family that we don't get to see that often! We got up Sunday morning and everyone had breakfast and we headed back home! It was a quick but fun trip! Waiting for the ceremony to start. My Aunt Karen(thanks Aunt Karen) took Rheanne to the back when I had to get up and read the first reading. Thank goodness she didn't start screaming. When I sat back down she started being loud so I had to take her out. While we were sitting the the foyer, she peed all over me and the floor. Thank goodness I brought her a change of clothes, but I got to smell like pee the rest of the night!The beautiful couple!This is just a few members of the family. Not everyone could make it!The cake and bouquets were gorgeous!They were nice to each other and didn't smear it all over each other's faces!Aunt Katy and her beautiful dress!They had to get up bright and early and head back for Florida!Steven Paul with the bride! The whole way there he kept saying "I am going to talk to Candace's(plural) and her wedding is going to be pretty!" He is always shy around her and when he saw her he said "No I don't think I am going to be able to talk to her."Ha he is such a shy kid!Me with the wonderful couple!
